about tuning machines and epi's...

so i was looking at gfs' website and there are these really nice looking keystone tuners (tulip tuners) and i'm not sure whether they would fit my epi les paul. they said they're for 70's and 80's Les Pauls, so i don't think they'll fit... but where could i get tulip tuners that would fit my les pauL???

they probably will fit.. if they are grover style usually and screw in bushing they usually pop right in.
grover makes 'em. I sell the buttons often.. and whole sets.
I think gotoh has a set with tulip/keystones..
check all parts then pm me, I'll get you a lower price.
I know they have some lower priced sets.. 18:1 ratio, too.
so look thoroughly.
I'd do it but I started cleaning up the shop and I'm pooped!

@twang: thanks, but what are these ratio things about?

@dole: the E and G tuners keep falling out of tune. I blame myself for constantly going from standard to Drop C# or Drop D tuning several times a day. That and I think the tulip ones look gorgeous on Les Pauls.
