I finally ordered my first Gibson from musiciansfriend.
The guitar was shipped via UPS Ground on Monday, and today was the scheduled delivery day.
Unfortunately nobody was at home until late night. I expected that UPS guy will re-deliver it tomorrow. However when I checked the tracking number from work, the tracking number showed that the package was left at the door
I got home at 8PM and nothing was left at the door. I looked everywhere, asked my neighbors, no luck.
The price of the guitar was $1,200. I expected that it will be a signature required delivery. I will wait few more days and hopefully I can find my guitar.
If guitar was lost or stolen, what will be the best way to resolve this problem? Will MF ship the guitar again? Should I contact UPS for the reimbursement? This never happened to me.
Any opinions are much appreciated.
