Looks great! I just got one today as well!
I bought the one right next to the one you got, eljay.
6 3/4 lbs, etc, and the fellows at WW did me solid!

Update: Brown was here today. Just got through playing her for a lttle over three hours.
This is going to work out just fine. Not sure where eljay went... sorry for the thread hijack...
but it's already started so I won't start a redundant thread.
Here's a few more shots:

eljay is right here and doin' fine!

i played my 336 tonite, too, and it's great fun.

only thing i don't like so far is that the range of tones does not seem to be as wide as on my 335. some folks have described the 336 as having a "woody" tone. my 336 has a lot of clean treble, a la fender, and doesn't seem as "gibsony" as the 335.

still, will be easier to play in my laz-z-boy later this summer when ankle surgery lays me up!

That's a beuaty. Does your 356 have the straight-pull headstock? (Like a heritage)
Gibson has changed back to the traditional shape now.

You got the power man! Great axe, and great series, the 33X's rule!
:applause::applause::applause::applause::thumb::thumb::thumb:
I love them all, 336, 346, 356, and still have yet to own one. Someday. I've played them and they are so cool, very woody and to my ear MUCH more pleasing than their laminated counterparts, the 339 & 359.
I'm always looking for the right 346, and will own one someday.
I feel your joy!
Post more pics and vids of you playing it if you are able. They are such nice guitars.
I almost got a Kieffer Sutherland 336 for 2k, but held off since I'm supposed to be culling and not adding guitars to the herd for a while.....still, I can live through you folks though:)

Oh, and

Thanks for the welcome, it has the traditional Gibson headstock, the only thing that i am aware that is different is that the F holes are/were stained the same as the top rather than black.

I do have one with a straight headstock pull: (hope i haven't gotten to far afield)
