I scored a pair of cream pup covers and re-installed the original Gibson P-90's in my '76 wine red Deluxe. :thumb:
She came w/ the P-90's installed when I got her in '84. I've had Duncan minis in her for ages and decided I needed a change. She has the threaded inserts for the minis in the pup routs and it looks like whoever installed the P-90's routed some little wormlike channels to accommodate the P-90 wire across the bottom of the pick up routes.Oh yeah, She has a Jonsey harness under the hood, too! I forgot how mean and snarley she is w/ the P-90's! :naughty:

GORGEOUS! What's the mini-switch for?

Sigh.......... In 1986,while in a drunken stuper, I thought it would be a great idea to put the mini toggle in as a split/series/parallel control for the bridge Mini HB. One of those unfortunate " :wtf: was I thinking of?" moments
The switch controls nothing with the P-90 set up.
I guess I'll try to find something to plug the hole, or cover it up, but for now I'm just diggin the tone!:D

Could you post a sound bite or two? Perhaps clean and not? I'm thinking of P90's for my deluxe, but I'd like to hear what they sound like vs. the mini's.

I do love a wine red and P90s! Keep the switch if it's useful, I don't think it detracts from anything as it is.
