I actually got to play some vintage gear today (72 335 and 69 LP Custom) and I came away with a neck question: the 69 neck wasn't a baseball bat, but it wasn't nearly as skinny as today's Gibson 60s necks - so why in the world is Gibson calling these LP Classic necks 60s necks if they're much thinner? Were they skinnier prior to 69, but post 59? I loved the feel of the 69, but have grown custom to the 60s reissue.
