I'm hoping in the new year, probably after the NAMM show.

They'll find something to render all previous years RXs obsolete. They always do! Otherwise, how could they market/sell the newer model year model.

:hmm::slap:

Inquired about a 1960 M2M after seeing the one recently posted. Was told Gibson Custom is not taking M2M '60 orders until after NAMM which may or may not hint at a spec change... who knows.

With his description of "early 1960 version" and it having bell knobs leads me to believe they will once again make three version (V1/V2/V3) with the neck and knob changes as they did in 2010.

What changes to the neck did they make?

That’s awesome. I also like the possibility of V1/V2/V3 necks, or at least two of those, for one of them is basically an R9 neck.

It'd be really cool if Gibson were to make the first serials (lowest serial numbers) V1 necks w/tophats followed by the V2s and V3s,

Do a total of 1960 60ths from 0 0001 to 0 1960 with approximately 650 of each version.

V1 0 0001 to 0 650, V2 0 651 to 0 1300 and V3 0 1301 to 0 1960.

It'd be way cool and easy to tell which V model it was in the future but it's probably way beyond Gibson to do it right ..:facepalm:
