I saw RHCP play for FREE, across the street from Hollywood H.S. Back in the day.....

$600.00, I'll pass.......:slash:

I think I saw them for about $7 back in 1987. Faith No More with Chuck Mosely singing opened. Not sold out. Very small club.

$600.? I wouldn't pay $60. And probably not even $6.

I can't say I "would never", but the Chili Peppers minus JF makes us very unlikely. The most I've ever spent on a ticket was $275. And that was an Eagle's NFC Championship game, which they lost. :laugh2:

If they were my favorite band I would consider it. Even then I can't imagine you "need" to spend that much to see them. Wait until the date gets closer and start checking eBay and CL. I'm sure you'll find something worth buying, if you want to be there. It all depends on who the Chili Peppers are to you.

I'd say no if it was 6 dollars and in my backyard.
Side note- I saw Carlos Santana open for Jeff Beck for 12 dollars.

That is ridiculous, I paid 65 per ticket to see them in 07. It was a great show, but like many have mentioned above, John Frusciante is the reason it was such a great show. I wouldn't even pay the 65 I paid before to see them without John.

Springsteen tickets that have a face value of $114 are hitting $9,000.

Awfully steep for a washed-up band that had what, one good album..

 :thumb:

Would have paid $20 to see them in their prime in '91.
