Are you a low Les slung player, or do you wear your Paul high on yer belly?
Do all your straps have to be exact length?

Low slung looks great but plays havoc with my back after a while! You may also get tendon problems with your wrist due to angle at which you grip the neck. I compromise - upper thigh!

I don't stress about the looks side, just have it where comfy, bout waist height.

The top edge of the thing hits me a little below my waste. I wear it low I guess, but whatever. Wear it too high, and you'll look like a class A dork...

Tom doesn't care what people think. I wear it right at my waste, it kills my back to wear it low.

Yeah...I'm about where Jomo is. Not too low, not too high. Being that I don't play in a band anymore I do most of my playing from my guitar stool...I should stand more while playing.

'Bout the same for me, I wear it "Jomo Style."

I used to wear it lower, but it wreaked havoc on my tendons...tennis elbow big time. Every now/then my left thumb would go numb.

I put all my LP straps the same length. I wear my Strat just a bit lower, but it's comfy there.

Judging from your avatar pic, Nick, I hang my LP about the same level, maybe a little below the waist. It depends on your arm length and height. I like to hang it on my right thigh and when I climb up the fretboard I like to swing the guitar further to my right side.

I wear mine low enough to where you can see my Rebel Flag belt buckle haha! Never had any tendon problems but I'm only 14!

I line up my bridge pickup with where my belt buckle 'would' be, if I wore a belt! I never wear a belt when playing, though. No buckle rash on my babies!

Maybe I should clarify... I do wear a belt, but I have a flannel polishing cloth that I wrap over my belt buckle while I'm playing. No buckle rash on my babies either!

When I strap one on, I don't wear a belt either, but I still have a little rash.

Mine's about where Adwex's is. Maybe an inch or two lower. My pickup selector is just below my "cavernous belly button", as my wife would say. ....sorry. TMI.
