Don't Know about guitar auctions. But lots of auction places take a cut from both buyers and sellers.
You don’t think prospective buyers take that into consideration when bidding?

I know the person bidding against Gil, and he told me his limit was $140,000.
When Gil threw out that bid, he was out. Gil knew the buyers premium when
Gil, and me, and the $165,200 Auction Burst on his shoulder.
