a pretty close copy of the real thing. here it is with my 58.
i have owned original juniors, a few of the reissues before they went satin and now this custom shop. all great guitars. the big difference for me is the custom shop has the big fat neck i like. the regular reissues are great if you put a bumblebee cap in it(really wakes up the p-90). also the regular reissues don't have the angled bridge except for an 01 i had. this custom shop reissue is a great sounding and playing guitar and i don't have to worry about dinging it like i do the 58. the 58 is my favorite guitar but this custom shop will be my beater. only a matter of time before it gets reamed out for grovers.

Congrats! :thumb:

I really would like to get one, but I am worried about the neck being actually bigger than on vintage juniors, notably in the shoulders...

How does the finish feel compared to your '58?

both of mine have necks that are pretty similar. as far as the finish goes the finish on the 58 is pretty checked and worn. feels almost like leather so the reissue is a nice smooth change.

Very nice Juniors. Congratulations on the new one!

-To see those Reissues always reminds me of my own (original) '57 Junior, one guitar i should never have parted with..!

I'm selling my '57 Junior reissue in the classifieds section now. I know I will regret it in the future, as I love that guitar.
