Good looking kids...you must be a really proud parent, although I can imagine there are trials at times. :thumb:

Thanks Barn, and OH, YESSSSSS:shock: everything is a battle, getting him outta bed, getting him dressed, getting him to take his meds, getting him to eat, and getting him to go to sleep. It's really hard not to be pissed at him all the time. I've learned to have a great deal of patience over the past ten years. I am often the buffer between he and my Wife. I can't wait to see what happens when he's older.

Personally, were I you (by which I mean if I had your skills), I'd sell that headstock overlay on here or Fleabay and just do my own from scratch. I really think your work is much cleaner. The overlays are supposed to be NOS, I believe, but I've always been dubious about that claim. :hmm:

Yes, but I'm a lazy summinabitch.:laugh2:

I may try to create on of my own we'll have to see.

Dude you are amazing. If you do not go with your logo you are insane. You did the amazing work on it and you should put your name on it. Another amazing build from you.
Is it getting P-90s or buckers in it.

I have seen those at harbor freight as well. They are indeed better than double sided tape.

Inlays tacked down, time to trace around them and, get ready to rout the board. The best thing about blocks, it's easy to rout them out.:thumb:
That, and they look so damn nice.:D JMO, YMMV.

When routing how do you get the corners right. A small chisel or a chisel tip exacto.

I use a 1/16 4 flute down cut CNC bit in my Dremel. It takes just a little touch with a straight edge rasor blade to finish it up.

When you do your binding can you take a lot of pictures, I want to do multi on some of my builds in the future and I really don't have the process down in my head yet. Thanks

And Pleeeaaaase do a lot of coverage on the headstock binding, including sources (where to buy it) and methods (how to laminate it) aswell as bending (heatgun?!).

My next one HAS to be a Custom, too. Just need the money :D
(Sucks when everything is prepped, you want to order and then life strikes back :/ )

That's pretty much it, the only differance is, on this build (57) I will be routing a step channel for the multi lam partion of the binding.
