Has anyone had the opportunity to weigh an original trapeze from say a 1952 GT?

Wondering how much lighter a modern stop tail would be?

Thanks

The whole thing or just the bar? The original bar from my 52 is 3.75 oz

Thanks for doing that.

Basically what I'm trying to determine is if I replace an entire '52 trapeze assembly and replace it with a modern light weight stop tail assembly (it's a conversion ) what the weight difference would be.

If the aluminum bridge/studs etc would weigh meaningfully less than the entire trapeze .

Hoping to drop a few ounces from the overall weight of the guitar.

When I swapped to the MojoAxe tailpiece I remember being surprised at how lightweight it was compared to the original. I've had great luck with the MojoAxe piece and would recommend that route.
