I can only agree from the photos you shared on this site. Not too much to like from my perspective.

I don't even think it's a conversion.
That was my thought also, with the maple cap added one might assume it was a junior or something but that neck pocket, the selector switch hole, the quality of the wood, looks like my richwood re-125. plus the control cavity, the pickups have a paf sticker on lol

So many things wrong on that guitar: Neck heel shape, pickup routes, neck tenon ..........

headstock isn;t 17 deg either, no straight on shot of the headstock so cannot verify that shape.

Although when I compeds these two together and adjusted for lens distortion and the is a very slight variance to each side.

its being auctioned as an early 50's conversion with a new maple cap 'probably converted in the seventies' I have posted purely to help educate myself, not on a witchhunt. its up to any bidders to satisfy themselves of its authenticity.

If that is a ‘50s body that was retopped it must’ve also been renecked, and had the selector switch cavity enlarged…unless for some reason they retopped an already humbuckered model (although the route is much too sloppy to be factory). The pre-humbucker models had a smaller switch cavity.
