Very nice guitar! I have a 2008 R0 Special in cherry with a large neck like yours. Mine has pretty decent shoulders, which is not a problem, just a feature. Despite owning an R9, an R5 HotMod/refin, and an R4 (with factory humbuckers), I find myself grabbing this guitar first. It makes me wish the R4 (my avatar) had p90s because they have that sound we all want from humbuckers, but they can hum. Lollar makes a RWRP bridge, which makes the guitar silent when the two pickups are blended equally.

Anyway, the R0 Les Paul Special has my vote for desert island guitar. Play it and enjoy it!
