335 dot inlays to block inlays

hi everyone..has anybody tried to have somebody or personally changed their gibson es 335's dot inlays to block inlays.? if yes can you give me some insights?

It's possible, but could cost a ton of money, as the there would be a lot of re-routing to be done?

I actually thought of doing that to my LP Classic, just to give it that "Custom" look, but I was quoted about $500+ by almost everybody that was qualified to actually do it!

I would have just tried to do it myself, but there's no way I could afford (monitarily) to mess it up. It took me forever to save up for that guitar, so...I just swapped the green inlays for MOP.

Maybe the 12th block inlay can't be properly installed, because of dots spacing
