Proof that MLB really is back---Angel Hernandez behind the plate in Washington and blowing calls.

Rumour has it that when Dr. Fauci threw that ceremonial first pitch almost to the on-deck circle, Hernandez called it a strike on the outside corner.
Dr Fauci should have told him not to wear a mask because only the good die young.

Good riddance to you then. The MLB doesn't want your money. Also, good luck trying to find a ticket to a sporting event completely closed to the public.

Yes, because that worked so well for the NFL. It's not like they're still dealing with the repercussions of trying to sweep it under the rug and blacklisting Colin Kaepernick.

Why is it a problem? It's fully within a player's First Amendment right to kneel during the National Anthem, and the fact that the MLB is actually standing up for their players trying to make our country better is incredibly commendable and refreshing to see. They aren't protesting or disrespecting the flag, they're protesting the fact that life in the United States is not equal for all and that Americans are getting killed on daily basis because of the color of their skin. The players are using their elevated place in society to get out the message that they want change and it's an excellent idea. I have news for anyone that is offended by people kneeling, the United States is never going to be like it was in the 1950s or 1980s so stop trying to live in the past and try to educate yourselves.

It looks like the Jays are going to play in Buffalo or they're going to play only road games, which wouldn't be fun for them.
BLM does NOT make this country better. BLM has made it worse. And do you have proof that the USA oppresses any of its citizens? Do you have proof Americans are getting killed on a daily basis as a result of their skin color. If you do, I’d love to see it.

A major American sports event, rare this year, is on TV right now. Please let sleeping moose lie.

OK, so... it's meh. The "first pitch" was more interesting. Phils are tomorrow night. I am hoping maybe I'll be able to get into it, but it just seems boring.

I love baseball, too. Fuck.

I'm trying to imagine what football will be like in empty stadiums.

Yea me too. I kinda just been watching pro sports over the last couple of years amid the controversies which was mainly just Kapernick. Of coiurse baseball and football are the only interest I have. This sudden interest in marxism really turns me off. I believe it is mostly virtue signalling by sports ownership/management but in all honesty that is even more ridiculous.

try and educate yourself. Maybe take an online US history class at your local community college or University,

And there's your problem right there. Said community college or university has sold you a bill of goods, and now you're trying to sell it on to more suckers. Sorry, pal, I am extremely well educated, not least in American and colonial history, and I can tell truth from Zinn fictions.

The whole BLM "systemic racism" sob story is a wonderful example of how propagandists can take a grain of truth, and then coat it with layer upon layer of slime until they've produced a perfect black pearl of falsehood.

You know who else thought they would be on the right side of history? The Confederacy
You know who else? The Dixiecrats.
There was also an Austrian guy who spoke of a 1000 year Reich that lasted 12 years.

Well, you just went full dickhead.

Not supporting rioters and looters - and black racists - is NOT to be compared to Nazism or segregationism. Now you're just engaging in moronic gratuitous insults.

History is NOT on the side of those who are trying to start a race war.
