Hi, I read here all the time but just got my first Gibson a few months ago. That was the 2019 Tribute. Love the satin finish on the body and especially the neck. This is a great guitar (had many many Epi LPs) and I recommend it. Only thing I changed where the tuners to Kluson locking vintage nickel which were a direct replacement. But then I came across the LP Classic Lite exclusive from AMS/ZZounds. Got mine from ZZounds a week ago. Love this guitar as well, the thinner body is definitely a plus for couch playing. Only knock is I don't like a gloss finish on the back of any guitar neck and this has it. Also I want to swap the tuners for locking as well, but with the Grovers it looks like I can only go with Grovers, but they don't come in vintage or in nickel (chrome only)??, which is unforntante. But wanted to post some side by side pics in case anyone else is interested in either of these.

Wanted to add when I say 'interested' - just in reviewing for themselves, these aren't for sale. :)

I was under the impression that Hipshot tuner holes line up with Grovers? If not, you could always do their version with the plate on each side.

I'm not sure I'll ever buy another LP that doesn't have a thin body and belly cut, so much more comfortable and I'm not a fat guy which some seem to think they're aimed at.

Sorry. The sarcasm gets the best of me. I just found it funny that the OP had to clarify that they were not for sale.
I love the wise cracking buddy!! :cool2:

Sometimes I get myself in trouble,......just by expressing my opinion. Oh well,...I’m too old to give a $hit!!

Here's my Les Paul Classic Lite. I also got mine from ZZounds. Their no interest payment plan made it very affordable for me. Less than $100 a month.
They currently have a couple of "blemished" models for under $1600.

I love this guitar. So comfortable to wear. I've only used it at one gig so far but it just killed!

How's the fretwork, specifically the fret ends, on your tribute? Both look amazing, by the way.

They match! I like how they look. I tried a 2014 Custom Lite but I didnt like the thinner body, felt out of place on an LP, just my take on it though.
