My only complaint about this (and the 2015 doublecuts Sam Ash was blowing out) is the body shape is just a little bit off of a normal doublecut Special/Junior.

Yes, that's a good thing. Pick guard should be black but that is an easy fix.

I personally think it cool Gibson have produced these models, with hard cases. Nice to have something different available.

These Special Double Cut LPs are sweet guitars...but not at $1399...$999 would be more like it imo.

Yeah, love the binding and the bridge, but the logo and body shape are deal breakers for me.

I grew to like this body shape over the last couple of years, especially in the other finishes. They look real handsome in the dark burst finishes.

If the value is dollar for dollar, it would be three times nicer than mine, so I have to assume it's a wonderful thing!

BUT

I am not quite sure what game Gibson is playing with the pricing of these (as well as for the Junior or the SG Junior), I just think they are to high.
