2017 G-Force?

Does anything special need to happen to re-string a guitar with G-Force? I know there's instructions out there on the web, but I want to hear from someone who may have experience in changing strings on a G-Force equipped guitar. Thanks!

It's been a while since I sold my '15 Deluxe, but I do remember it is different than regular tuners. You really do just need to look at the directions, and maybe even a youtube video. The first few strings you do will be a little tricky, but by the time I got to GBe strings I had it down.

Hey read the instructions for restringing, it's pretty simply and just takes a few times doing it and it become second nature. ENJOY!!!

I have the 2016 version of G-Force and the 2014 version of Min-e tune. There are youtube videos of both. It is easy.

Do these things still exist? I remember when they used to be on all Gibsons - seems such a long time ago now. Maybe you guys should think about moving with the times...

I have the 2017 Standard HP with G-Force. It's non-locking. If you do decide to get a 2017 Gibby with a G-Force then just de-string the guitar string by string. That should teach you how the guitar is strung up and thus will teach you how to string the posts of the new G-Force. Make sure to read the instructions as well.
