That horse was retarded in that game. :laugh2:

Ah ha! Now I remember...that's what it was...one of the main things I hated about Witcher 3. Roach was just killing the game for me. Before I knew it I was spending more time trying to hack it's head off or push him off a cliff than I was playing the story quests. Eh, I'll probably still give it another go...the horse decapitation I mean.

Steep learning curve and when you die, it takes forever to load your last save. There are enemies everywhere that can kill you with one swat. Not just "boss" battles. Regular monsters you find walking around can mess you up!

Yeah, that's true. Now that I remember back, I felt combat was a bit awkward, probably due to the learning curve, but it wasn't what bothered me most. The combat reminded me of the Assassin's Creed games in the awkward dept, but once you get used to it, it's fine. That horse though drove me up the freakin wall!!

"And the award for lamest video game character goes to"...

I only used the horse for travel. Never in combat. It was a bit clunky, but I got used to it.

Same here. I ride somewhere, dismount, kill/be killed, remount and ride off.

Actually, if I saw a group of bandits, I would try to decapitate one via horseback before dismounting.

Yeah, once you get those top end "fear" blinders for Roach, fighting from horseback is the easiest way to take bandits out.
