Oh yeah, good decision.

The dark cream plastics look a lot better on your wine red than they do on my Midnight Manhattan. Thinking about swapping mine out.

I think I would have gone for the Honeyburst one. In the final analysis, you must already really like what you have and my guess is you will be pleased with your decision. It also shows IMO, that your thinking has some maturity to it.

I agree with you 100%. The dark cream rings look awesome on my Desert Burst Studio but the Midnight Manhattan should have been black!

I wish my Desert Burst Standard had come with dark cream plastics. It came with that wonderful pink that is finally, six years later, getting to be dark cream. But man, it looks good on the Desert Burst.

Yeah, I actually like the dark creme (don't see it everyday!) I'd LOVE to find a dark creme pickguard, but that's proving impossible. Know of any for sale? Got one on your Midnight? :)

Thank you. A bit of maturity I guess because this Wine Red was my first LP purchase, so for that reason alone I'd be crazy (at the moment) to get rid of it. I'll get a burst in time...

I like the dark cream color, just not on this guitar. It's a somewhat bright blue with satin hardware and black speed knobs. The dark cream just looks a bit.....odd.

But no pick guard on it.
