Has anyone heard about a Les Paul custom for 2015? I looked on Gibson and they don't have one.

Could be they're focusing on the "innovations" for the 2015 USA lineup and the Custom will be spec'd the same as 2014...

Apart from the richlite replacing ebony, the custom spec has been the same for years. It moved to the custom shop in 2004 and has not changed.

Custom shop guitars are usually released later than standards. Pretty sure details were out this time last year though.

Due to the big changes in 2013, this coming year's models probably won't be all that different. Probably small things like "accurate thickness binding, altered by 0.00613mm for that vintage burst sound".

What years are Ebony fretboards?

Anyone concerned with ebony vs richlite (or one piece vs layered rosewood for that matter) should varify the serial number of the guitar with Gibson if it was made after August 2011 (and before 2014 if rosewood). 2011 serial numbers have been confirmed for both.
