You are looking at an extremely clean, very rare Les Paul. This one is in excellent overall condition with only very minimal play wear which I have tried my best to capture in the pictures (a few very small nicks here and there). This is from an ultra limited run of 1958 featherweight reissues Wildwood released in 2014. All the vintage accurate construction specs are here (long neck tenon, hide glue construction, thin bare truss rod cover without the plastic condom cover etc). Additionally, this guitar is 1 of only 5 finished in the color “wildwood burst”. If you aren’t familiar with this finish, it was custom done and ordered direct from the Gibson custom shop by Wildwood to obtain a vintage faded cherry sunburst color. Additionally, the VOS finish adds to its vintage vibe. The weight is 8 lbs 1 ounce! As you would expect from a Les Paul of this weight, note clarity, sustain, woody tone and acoustic volume are all here in droves. Neck profile is a very comfortable full ‘58 thickness (not as thin as an R9, and not as big as some of the R7’s I have had). The COA and all original case candy is included.
