Hello,

I picked up a pair of 2017 Gibson Burstbucker pro pickups, pretty cheap.
I liked the tone of the Epiphone Probuckers, but upgraded the guitar with the Gibson pickup set I bought HOLY CRAP this guitar sounds amazing. Night and day difference, Anyone else used the Gibson Burstbucker pros?

The main difference between the Epi Probuckers and Gibson BB Pros are the magnets. Probuckers have A2 and BB Pros have A5. So your guitar probably got louder with more snappy attack, and perhaps compressing a bit more. Cool if you like it :)

I have an Epi with all Gibson internals, BB Pros, PCB, Gibson pots etc. Immense was the best way I could describe it when I did the conversion and first plugged it in. It is on par soundwise with some of my Gibsons, and it even resonates better and has more growl than many Gibsons I've played. It has incredible sustain, and is a ten pound tone monster.
