This is my Studio Deluxe vintage sunburst. I have loved this guitar from day one. Versatile, nice plaintop, faux binding, zebras. This particular one sounds fantastic and almost plays itself. But it clearly had an identity crisis with that Deluxe TRC and the lack of a Bigsby.

So, everything ordered and the box arrived yesterday - Bigsby B7, Vibramate V7, blank TRC, amber switch tip, pointers.

On with the pics...

This is how she started off

Supplies

Stripped, a good opportunity for a good clean up and to oil the fretboard

And all finished. Just need to set up, intonation etc. And tidy up.

And now it's time to play.

Looks great! I've had temptations to put a bigsby on my studio deluxe. If not that one I definitely know I'll put one on a future lp

Good job! I have a VSB Studio DeLuxe as well, and have been thinking about adding a Bigsby to it. Seeing yours...well, let me just say, the seed has been planted. :)
