This is a like new Gibson 2008 50th Anniversary 1958 Korina Tribute Les Paul. 8.4 lbs

Here is a super-rare item. In 2008, Gibson produced three Korina models - a Flying V, an Explorer, and the Tribute Les Paul - to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1958 Korina models that are now legendary. Gibson made only 100 of each model.

The top is a stunning carved piece of Korina, bound in classic Cream. This sits atop a body of Korina, and it's all finished in an Antique Natural VOS that replicates the golden hue of the originals.

The Korina tonewood produces a full and sprite voice, with complex overtones and harmonics. This amazing tone is captured by a trio of gold Gibson Burstbuckers. These pickups are wired to a unique 4-way switch that selects any or all of the pickups. Each 'bucker has its own volume control which all run to a master tone.

The 1-piece Korina neck is a vintage dream. It is full and robust, with a 1950's rounded profile. The 22-fret rosewood fretboard has a super-playable 12" radius and is adorned with classic dot inlays. At the top of the neck is a split-style headstock that is a nod to the Moderne; the third of the 1958 set (with the Flying V, and the Explorer), which featured a unique body shape and this headstock design. Kluson Vintage Style Tuners, special "Custom" bound truss rod cover, and raised Gibson logo finish the truly custom classic look.

This collectible Gibson 50th Anniversary Korina Tribute Les Paul comes in a plush pink fur lined Special Limited Edition Brown Coffin Case with a Certificate of Authenticity, hang tags etc.
