Hey all! Wonder if you can help. Does anyone know much about 2005 faded standard necks? Just wondering how the 60s variant holds up to today’s 60s. I like a small neck so just wondering if anyone has a comparison.

How much do 2005 standards sell for in Europe without burstbuckers. Classic 57s in bridge and neck (2013 aged).

Thanks!

I had one awhile back. I really can't say how a 2005 '60s neck compares to today's '60s necks but I'm sure some experts will be able to weigh in. I do remember that I liked the open pore finish on the neck, a lot! It played really nice and was comfortable. I would call it a "small" neck but again, even that's relative and subjective.

Haven't had the occasion to compare with today’s 60s necks, but my two 60's necked 2005 Fadeds are:
- width 43.40 mm (1.708 in)
- thickness 19.90 mm (0.783 in) @ 1st fret, 23.10 mm (0.909 in) @ 12th fret
Very comfortable for my small hands.
Hope that helps!

Thanks! I got some measurements and it’s indeed a thin neck. Gonna pick up at the weekend. Decent.

I have a 2000 Classic w/ 60s neck and a 2020 Standard 60s neck; both very similar if not the same.
