2002 studio with stock Grover locking tuners?

I just bought a 2002 Studio in Wine Red with gold hardware and a flame top. It isn’t a AAA top, maybe AA? I assume it is a Studio Plus, but has stock Grover locking tuners. Was there some special run with Modern Grover locking tuners? Maybe for GC?

Yes there were many exclusive runs of Studio models for GC and Musicans Friend etc. What you probably have is a Studio Pro or Studio pro plus. I had one around 2007-2008 with same appointments in Manhattan midnight blue with factory locking Grovers too. I believe mine had push pull volume pots too although yours may not being earlier. Those electronic tweaks started showing up around the time mine was built on the special Studio models
