I haven’t posted in a while and got the urge to finally show the Great year of Gibsons production.
I did change out the the caps for vintage B’s for a warmer tone And plays like a dream.
Love its original case with the purple velvet.

Nice studio! Not often do I see studios as being really beautiful, but that one is!
That case is from the 70’s as well!

Yes Daniel and love it. The uniqueness of it is specs say “maple neck”
were mine is solid Mahogany w/wings ( its not a crack but light reflecting off the finish)
‘Aged Pearl inlays‘, and a different chamber cut then what should be.
I have talked to Reme Eskridge From the custom shop after I got it on what I found that was entirely diff from what it should have been (chromyte style chambering like a Lite but it’s not ) The only info he found was it may have been a prototype or special build. Gold tuners are like new all these years

What I really like about the neck is the inlays are a greenish/yellow antique pearl, not the whitish that’s I see on others from that era. From what ive heard is that type is from a Custom.
Can anyone clarify this , or is it from age.

I have a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Studio. Could you tell me if the bridge has a casting mark? Other than the current (PW) casting mark's on current replacement bridges. I called Gibson customer service and they said, by company policy, they could not give out this information. I want to buy a authentic used period bridge to keep my Studio as authentic as possible.
