I have had this LPJR since about 1993, bought it from a mail order catalog, some of you older guys may remember Daddy's Junky Music. I'm selling off guitars that I play the least and this is one of them. It has some wear, dings and dents etc that are reasonable for how old it is. Serial # dates it to 1987. But....the neck has a crack in it, came like that when I bought it. The two techs that I have taken it to over the years have confirmed it is only a surface crack but I know this kind of defect decreases value. But by how much? It was also stamped "SEC" which I assume means "second". I changed the pickup to a Wolf Tone several years ago but have the original and would include it. I am not a professional musician, I don't play live and rarely jam outside the house so this guitar has spent a lot of time stored in a hard case. What do you think is a good asking price? Thanks for any feedback.

I would get on reverb and look up completed sales of this year LPJR double cut, you will get an idea of what people have paid for one rather than what people are asking for them. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay....

Nice guitar!

You have replaced tuners. What may be a questionable crack to some people. The back is missing a strap button. Rough looking back as well.

Most buyers would want better pictures of the front and back of the headstock. I
would want to see more pictures of the front of the guitar.

Reverb has the current values around $1750.

So far I think yours would be less than $1750. You could always ask what you want
and see what happens

Depends on how fast you want to move it. I'd list it at $1000, and be prepared to accept about 20% less.

LP JR Double cuts are really hot now. Even with the "problems", I think that would fetch $1200.00 without too much problem... It would bring more if it had a wrap tailpiece.. Cool old guitar, and most of those are pretty whooped up on. They are ROCK machines!
