I hope someone finds these images helpful. I went to a lot of trouble scanning and processing these. 1200 dpi TIFF scans (each ~130 MBs), converted into 1920 pixel .jpgs.

I'd bet these are unique to the internet. If not, no one went to the trouble to make them crisp and clear like this.

I used to have a schematic and owner's manual as well - seems to be MIA. I'll keep looking.

The Mark IIB was the best guitar amplifier ever made.

I used to have a 1978 Mark II head, HRG model (Hundred watts, Reverb, Graphic EQ), serial number was either 3114 or 3116. I'd like to buy it back if I ever encountered it again.

At this moment I own a Mark III, a Studio .22, an SOB (60 watt straight, the first Mark 1 reissue) and I just scored a Triple Rectifier Solo head that needs repair. (An easy fix, I know how to do it.) So I have four Mesas at this time. I recently recapped all of them except the trip and I just got it. It will need caps. But it needs to be fixed before it gets its tune-up.

I remember reading that article and the ordering guidelines when I first thought about buying a Boogie. I finally ordered my Mark III direct in 1988. I still have the invoice and the manual from it. Here is the invoice:

I found all of the documentation I thought was lost. Had much more than I recall. Another surprise? All these years I thought I had bought it in 1980. Turns out it was 1981. That does fit my overall mental timeline better.

Not hard to track down, I found it in a store that I frequent and I knew that it was my old amp immediately.
