1976 lpc norlin serial number headache

helo everybody , in first place i dont speak english so please be patient with me .:)
i own a 76 custom and everything is like it chould be i'v got maple neck , chort tenon , t-top pickup , a date printed in the cavity that say nov 29 1976 , and the pots number 1377613
now her is the probleme the serial number show 6 engraves numbers 905614
and even it really look factory made it dosent fit at all unless you know something that i dont

It's a Kalamazoo build. They used 6-digit, stamped serials even after the Nashville plant moved to 8-digit decal serials in the mid seventies.

Yes, this 6 number serial nr. form lasted until even 1976 in Kalamazoo (but fairly rare in 76, replaced with 8 number form in 75). Interesting is, that most began again with 9 like early 70s and 71s.

Note the Schaller tuners and Nashville bridge.

It is a short tenon too?
