all original?

Realistically between $2500 and $3275 depending......

If you are not in a hurry and have a good eye, the bottom, number is VERY realistic maybe even $100 LESS if you are able to drive a little and do the deal as cash and in person.

The top number is going to be Music Store/collectors (or wanna be's) and are for the people that want one because of "RR" etc. etc. (really, the boy loved his 1974, but I degrees....) and have more $$$$ than sense.....you might even find a couple listed for $3500 or so, but those are not really for sale, they are for show.

Thats the Real Deal Bro.......Just sayin'

You got a line on one Bro?

HTC makes some great points, the standard on eBay is to list with an outrageous bin and have the best offer option CL deals pop up now and then. Patience is the key unless it's a Norlin Lp that was a very limited run something will come around if you keep looking.

Yep!!!

There are a LOT of deluded lefty sellers. I've been looking at the bay for the last 4 years, and there are quite a few guitars that have been up fo almost that entire time. One seller started out a black beauty from 1983 at $6000:laugh2: That one is still about too I think.

During that time I've only picked up a couple of Gibsons from there - mainly project guitars that are cheap. My 74 Custom I picked up from Southpaw. Mainly as they were selling it as a 78, with the lower price for late 70's Customs.

Depends on if it has mahogany or maple neck. 75 was transitional year, when the Nashville production began in new-opened factory.

Yes, but in 75 they switched to maple necks, shorter neck tenon etc. Overall - 70-early 75 Kalamazoo Les Pauls with mahogany necks fetch higher prices than 75 and later Norlins.

Well.... I had a chance to grab one. The guy had it on ebay for 1k.....he inherited it from his neighbor, (so he says) He then told me he went to the music store and they said it was worth $3,200.00 but wouldn't offer him anything for it. I offered $1,500 plus a bass (worth about $300) By the time all this materialized, somebody else close to him offered $1,600 and he took it. If the guy would have lived in my area, I would have been at his doorstep first. I honestly was looking at it as an investment only. I sold off a few of my guitars, (including my LP Custom 25th. Ann.) to have cash for my bills when I have my hip replaced. It was in incredible shape... ya win some, ya loose some :(

I do appreciate ALL the input and help with infomation and pricing of the guitar.
Thanks Guys.

Hey Guys......
Just weanted to update this thread. The guitar is back up on Craigslist. Apparently, the guy had the same thing in mind that I did (to buy and re-sell it).....Anyway I've contacted him and he wants $2,500 for it. So if anyone is looking for one of these here it is at a great price. I have NOTHING to do with the sale of this guitar......just passing infomation along.
