Just thought I would share some pics of a 1973 Les Paul Deluxe GoldTop I got the other day … have several 70s guitars , but I’m kinda digging the natural aging of these older ones. I could have got a much cleaner one without the checking, dings and dents … but there is just something about a nice worn in guitar or one that has some miles and looks rode hard and put up wet.

Thats a wonderful guitar, but the term 'natural relic' makes no sense. Relic is the act of artificially aging a guitar. So you cannot 'naturally artificially' age a guitar.
What you have there is a nice aged or old guitar

aw.... nice guitar man! I feel exactly like you do, it's so nice when the aging is real....... looking at this one makes me wish I never carved mine out for the large humbuckers! I really would like an all original Les Paul Deluxe but I'm starting to feel like a guitaroholic.......... yes I have a guitar buying problem........ please someone talk me out of it.

I wanted some of your opinions on the aftermarket input jack/ extra screw holes and additional strap button screw holes. Do I repair the holes with dowel plugs and or wood filler and replace with period correct input jack or leave it as part of the vintage mojo... ?
