Don't mind Greg, he's especially grumpy this morning as he's preempting the USA getting its ass kicked later this evening (note the anti Brit attitude) - not that I watch football

Man, that's a really good thing you're doing here. Keep up the good work.

Say, do you have pictures of what it looked like prior to you stripping it? Did it have four pickups and a built in pre-amp or something like that?

Any updates on this one, Greg? What you've shown us so far is pretty amazing work. Can't wait to see the end result.

Another Brit tosser looking over your shoulder, clock's ticking Greg! Seriously, nice work - you can't rush perfection (N.B. I'm just kissing your ass in an attempt to avoid one of your scathing comebacks :))

There was significant gluing and shaping done, and to make sure that all parts are settled and all glues are fully absorbed, we left it for a while. If will be sprayed Pelham Blue, and that color will not like wood shrinking.....

I don't know what it is about these threads, but I can't get enough of them. Greg, if you were to compile a coffee-table book of repairs like this, start to finish, with some basic how-to and high-res and high-quality photos of which we know you are capable based on your other threads, I'd buy it. Certainly, I understand not wanting to reveal certain trade secrets and whatnot, but enough to communicate to the reader the thoughts behind what was done and why (steering clear of some of the how to protect yourself). I'd wager most guys who have brought their trainwrecked guitars to you would be more than happy to allow you to feature it in print for such purpose...who wouldn't want to be able to show that off to folks?

Awesome! Pelham!

Are you sticking with the mini pups or going a different route?

Find a backer and I am in. I have TONS of this stuff for just that purpose.

Dear BB,

I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about certain posts
in this thread, regarding Brit tossers.
Many of my best friends are tossers and only a few of them are British.

Yours faithfully,

V!N

In other words:
