The Tone Specific 1961 Punchy P.A.F. Set. Is our best humbucker for Hard Rock, Classic Rock and Modern Rock Tones. They also work great for Funk and Ska. Like any good P.A.F. style pickup you can also cover other styles too. Even Country & Blues music sounds good through these. The neck is nice clear and tight and it stays plenty articulate enough when you roll off the tone making it more than capable of covering Jazz tones too.

Check out the tones from these pickups that @JayLeonardJ gets.

He's playing Benjamin Fargen MIJ Epi SG. He does a pretty deep dive into what these pickups can do. He covers a lot of gainy tones but is you fast forward to the 4 minute mark you can see these Tone Specific 1961 Punchy P.A.F pickups clean up very well.

Jay liked these pickups so much that he ordered a set for his main Humbucker guitar (MIJ Yamaha Revstar) He uses that guitar quite often on many of his online reviews.

Steve Ouimette is a well respected session player that also uses the 1961 Punchy P.A.F. Set in a Yamaha Revstar. He likes them so much he slapped the Punch sticker on his guitar. Here's Mr. Ouimette's guitar with the Tone Specific 1961 Punchy P.A.F.
