Maaaaaaaaaannnn, what I wouldn't do for a piece like that. I recently got a Casino Coupe and the tones in that thing don't compare to this, but it gets a heck of a lot closer than a whole catalog of others. HUGE dream guitar, right there.

Thanks for the vid, @mdubya .

Agree on all accounts!

The Coupe should have all sorts of interesting tones lurking within!

I'm considering a Heritage H530. I have neither a semi hollow nor P90s.
The H530 should be a full hollow. :yesway:

It is my goal to have the P-90 version of every humbucker guitar I own.

Humbuckers are great when you want to peel the lid off the place (at any volume).

But when you want degrees of subtly and tone, P-90's are tough to beat.

The Gibson ES 330's made since 2012 are all incredible guitars and most are at painfully reasonable prices. Less than $2k. Some just over $2k.

I've had 2 68/69 longneck 330s and neither delivered the goods.
I'd like to try an earlier one.

I have a 68 one with the neck set in the 'correct' place ;) (meaning further into the body)

It certainly delivers the goods :slash:

(Edit because of autocorrect)

Interesting, Charlie.

One of the things that set my hair on fire for a 330 was the Phil X Fretted Americana video on a long neck '68. I think Phil ended up buying that guitar along with producers requesting him and that particular guitar for sessions.

My VOS pretty much leaves my jaw hanging every time I play it. I usually think, "All of the notes below the 16th fret sound so damn good, who would ever feel the need to go higher up the neck?"

Pretty sure mine wouldn't do that. Not even in Phil's hands.
