The thought of it being a prank never crossed my mind, these cats weren't that way. I wanted to see it, but it didn't drive me crazy. Once Joe and I spoke about the guitar, I knew what it was going to be. Don't get me wrong, it was a thrill to open the case, but not enough to make me faint. Btw, that amp belongs to Eric Ernest, not me.

I'm sorry y'all, allow me to recant part of my previous post. You see, that was posted at the end of an 18 hour day and I was just beat. I thought about when I got the guitar and your perspective changes over the course of 28 years. So I tried to think about that day and the way that I was at that time in my life. I remember being in a HUGE hurry to get there, and I remember telling my girlfriend to ".... hustle 'cause we have to leave NOW..." , so I must have wanted to see it pretty damn bad! As far as seeing it was concerned, it was an enormous rush, one that I still remember, just not worthy of fainting. To be honest, the day that I graduated from college was a much bigger thrill.

I just bought a 1959 Gibson ga20 T here on the forum last week to compliment my Max. Do you play your burst with it still or is that an old photo?(just caught up and read it was Erics amp.) Did u play it threw that amp, if so how did it sound? I'll be taking delivery on mine Tuesday via fed ex dude!

You're very welcome and thank you for your comments. I also wanted to touch on an earlier post. I just restrung this guitar for the first time in at LEAST ten years. What a difference! It's like the damn thing is ALIVE, I had forgotten just how resonant it was and how easy it was to play. One of my friends played it and said "...it plays itself!". I'm going to sit in with some friends tomorrow night and I'm going to wear it out!
