Beautiful Gibson Les Paul Conversion 1958/59

This beauty was a conversion done from a 1958 Jr. what is super cool is that the back of the neck finish and profile was not touched and its one of the most comfortable playing and sounding guitars I've had the chance to play.
The original serial number "8" is still visible on the back of the headstock.
Guitar features original dark brazilian rosewood board with inlays filled in you can't even see the original dots work is truly amazing.
Body and neck are dark mahogany and the top finish was done with vintage nitro and 60 year old eastern maple top was added with beautiful flame, again the back of the neck has it's original finish.

Guitar is equipped with ReWind Electric Jimmy Page Post 72 Pickups Set Double Cream
If you haven't tried Rewind pickups you are missing out! These are the best PAF reproductions IMO rewind
Jimmy Page Set.....an overwound PAF in the neck and a hot T-Top in the bridge of a Les Paul opened the ears of the world to a wonderfully complex combination of sounds. The thick, rich, sustain heavy bridge pickup replaces the more open and airy PAF style pickup of the JPPre72 set.

Pickups measure

Bridge: 8.6k
Neck: 7.4k

Some vintatge caps with modern CTS pots installed.
Frets are good and she's ready to rock you won't be disapointed she rips!

Weighs in a light 8lbs 11oz

Comes with vintage hardshell alligator case

$16k net to me shipped overnight Fedex

Are the frets original? Large or small frets?
