I have no idea why they pulled it, but here is a copy/paste of what it said. Thanks!

Vintage 1957 Gibson Les Paul Special project guitar. Guitar has an unrepaired broken headstock just above the nut,and the headstock is currently completely broken off,but I'm sure that a luthier could reattach it. The guitar was apparently refinished in metallic blue many years ago,as the finish is checked from years of aging. This sale is for the guitar only, with no parts or hardware or electronics at all, with the exception of the tuner bushings and the tailpiece bushings, and the original nut, which are all still installed. All of the wood is completely original, and the fretboard, frets, and neck binding are in great shape. No extra routes or anything like that - no alterations except the apparent old refinish and obviously the headstock break. Just a great vintage project Les Paul with a lot of potential. Comes with no case,so buyer would need to meet me here in Atlantic County. Asking $1,500 or make an offer. Thanks and take care!

Of course it is! It's off to see the wizard! That guy is so talented that a guitar with a headstock repair by him is almost preferable to one that's never been broken. Good luck with the guitar. Should be great.

Thanks, he was nice to deal with.

It'll be a few months before Greg can get to it, but he said he would post pics of the repair and the refin (I don't think I can live with the blue)

No, I wasn't planning to. However it ends up, it's still a refinished repaired headstock guitar, with the kick the value takes.

I did arrange to buy a few of the original parts from VonPrikler (thanks man), most important to me was the P90s.

And what I really wanted, bottom line, was a hell of a player I can afford. I'm not concerned with collectibility and don't want to worry about taking it out to play.
