I have a MIJ 1970s 3-pup LP custom and am going to upgrade the wiring harness.

I always change to 50s wiring when I change pups or rewire my guitars, so I'd like to do the same now.

Can someone post a link to any specific wiring diagrams for 50s wiring for 3 humbuckers?

Cheers in advance

yeah I've seen that pic before but wasn't sure if it was actually 50s wiring. I know the pic says it is, but Gibson did change their wiring over the years so wasn't sure if that "since the 1950s" comment was just Gibson marketing BS.

Thats modern wiring....the tone circuit attaches to the same lug as the pickup.

Just 2 small changes - simply move both tone circuit wires 1 lug over to the middle (switch wire) lug - thats it......

I have a Gibson schematic that is from 1963 as I recall. I’ll dig it up tomorrow.
