Playing a late bar gigna while back.
I play a medley song by Stapleton that starts as freebird... goes into "devil named music" then back to freebird. I finish the song and some drunk starts yelling FREEBIRD... FREEBIRD...I just ignored it until he says " If you can play freebird I will pay you $100..... I asked if he was serious and he said yes. I kicked off freebird and he laid 5 $20 bills on my table. Biggest tip I have ever gotten.

One day the bank my wife was supervisor at had a customer that said he needed help getting his money back.

Short story is he was drunk in Vegas. Asked a guy where the closest ATM was. Followed the guy there. Handed him his card, gave him the PIN and told him take out $100 and keep $20 for yourself.

After he got home realized the guy took out $1000 and kept $920 for himself. No sympathy and no money back.

Then there's the story of a coworker that got higher than a kite test driving a new 78' Trans Am with the car dealer salesman. Signed the dotted line for car loan hell.

Or the wasted dude that handed my friend main floor tickets for Queen thinking he was an usher. We had a great night. Him not so much.

The obnoxious drunk at a gig that kept shouting play some Lennon every five minutes. He never got his request despite fulfilling the request of buying a round for everyone first.

The list of stupid people winning stupid prizes is a long one.
