1 lb of beef, no burger no taco - what do you do

You have 1 lb of extra lean ground beef you have to cook today.
Burgers are arbitrarily excluded and you don’t have “taco seasoning” or crispy tortillashells.
What do you make?

You do need a few extras to make it though.

chop up some peppers and onion and potato (diced) mix it all together with the cooked beef and some soy sauce and a little bit of sugar (like a tablespoon. Sugar and Soy Sauce make a Teriyaki'ish flavor)... heat it up in the pan with the meat until the onions and potatoes are soft.

put the mix of meat and stuff over rice.

It’s hamburger.

Brown it up with a little onion and eat it, freeze whatever’s left.

Pasta con piselli. (Italian, pasta with peas.) Similar to a goulash.

1 lb burger
6 cloves of garlic thickly sliced
1/2 cup vegetable oil
28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes
1 small onion cut into quarters
1 can of peas
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni.

In a large deep pan pour in a little vegetable oil and heat. Brown the burger and add the garlic making sure not to burn it. Once the burger is browned pour in the crushed tomatoes, peas, onion and the remainder of the oil and simmer for about 1/2 hour stirring regularly, salt and pepper to taste.

Boil the macaroni and drain, then add the macaroni to the mixture and let set for about 15 minutes. Serve with warm Italian bread.

Quick, hardy one-pan meal
