I gotta think the kid is playing both sides here...telling his dad one thing and Ben another.

It should also be considered that there could be one person playing both roles (the kid AND the parents). At any rate, it is clear that the seller bent over backwards in attempt to resolve things while the buyer failed to be productive and gave the seller the run around. The buyer should be banned from this forum if they have not been already.

the week before last or so he contacted me and my wife contacted the shipping company to have the claim payable to them and the shippers said the reports hadn't been filed. I emailed him to file the reports and got a reply that they were going on vacation and would take care of it when they got back.

Well he just had it repaired, and posted a NGD in historics, so I guess he's keeping it, and shouldn't be a bother to you any more Ben.

wow.... and from the looks of his collection it seems he was lying to me from day one ..."oh I can't swing the extra $400 for the price you are asking".... " I would love to have a nice guitar like that"..... oh well I am pretty sure the shipping company (the japanese post office) wanted to have the guitar returned before they would do any type of refund on it and now that it is fixed I have no idea what they would do.
