Actually, I was a little nervous posting the pics because I am not skilled enough at identification to be sure!! I am a very good judge of character though and he was kind of a "Bubba" but a damn nice one and he said a lot of things that rang true which gave some comfort to the transaction. I am still afraid that when I lift the pickups out I might see "Made in China" stamped on them!! But if that is the case, I will start buying all of my PUPs from China because they sound really great!!

i wouldnt want any guitar with a crack, even tho, yes they are strong repairs and my 92 limted colours eediion cracked and came out perfection! but at the end of the day you know its there , i wouldnt get it, only if it was for $1000, as a second or third!

Excellent buy, don't worry about the break, when it comes time have your guy fix it up, that was a steal IMO and a great looker. The sound is great too Cheers.

Thanks guys! I think it was a great deal! The sound and the feel of this thing makes it a winner! The crack is just a repair away. However, 10 years ago I would have passed on this as several of you would have. I used to like things perfect, but over the years I have come to realize that things aren't perfect and life is too short not to enjoy an insanely great guitar at a price that makes it reality!

My next one is a ways off. The R9 at 25% of new cost is gonna be a little hard to find!!
