Haven't posted in a while. Here's my new gem (with photos below that leave little to the imagination):
Model: 2018 1960 Les Paul with a Brazilian Fretboard
Finish: Golden Poppy Burst, Gloss
Run: Pre-Sold Limited, made for Wildwood (might be a one-off)
Serial Number: 0 8002
Weight: 8.2 lb

Up for sale is a 2005 Fender Custom Shop '60 Reissue Stratocaster in Daphne Blue NOS finish that has greened slightly with age. This particular model features factory gold hardware, which looks fantastic with the finish.
It's in excellent condition, with the plastic still on the pickguard...
Picked up one of those Epiphone 1960 Tribute Plus models used! Quite heavy and resonant!
Problems it had were a broken pickup ring and "the gibson hump" to the upper frets on the neck.
Hi Classic-players,
Please show me your Classics. 90s, 2000s, but only 1960s RIs, so not the new Classics. :-)
Especially Honeybursts and Vintage Sunbursts would be awesome. I would like to see the finish differences over the years.
Thanks!
René
I'm not sure I've ever been as excited to post a NGD thread in this section as I am with this one. I originally purchased this guitar from Panther Guitars in 2013 and it has since been owned by @Crotch (twice), @jenton70, @freebyrd 69, and @PontiacKendall (very briefly)... and that's just the...
Hey guys,
Local shop ID’s this guitar as a 2014 “1960 Goldie Burst” reissue... Say they got it from a Gibson roadshow, being sold as new.
The serial number is 0 4690 (which is an R0... but hats aren’t reflectors, there’s no pickguard/hole either). The colour is closer to a bourbon burst than a...
Hello people of MLP,
I am desperately looking for a Gibson Les Paul Historic 1960 Reissue (R0 / G0) in Ebony / Black / Blackburst. I'm looking for one with obviously a (60's) neck around 8.30 at the 1st fret to 9.30 at the 12th fret or somewhere thereabouts. Give or take obviously. I am willing...
Wow, this is the first Custom Shop Les Paul I've purchased and I'm definitely diggin it. I bought it used, locally. This is the Waddy Wachtel model, CC #14. I love the neck carve and weight and the fact that while it came with a Bigsby B5 installed on the top, like WW's, it also has the stop...
For sale is my 2006 Gibson Historic Les Paul. 1960 reissue. Its a R0 and NOT a G0. Its very cool because the back is a "dark back" color instead of the usual "red" color. Color is "Honeyburst". Its a plain top for sure..but has a nice vintage look to it. Guitar is in 7 or 8 out of 10 condition...
If this already exists, I apologize in advance.
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2018 58' Historic Reissue VOS (pics and details to come:applause:). The last reissue that I purchased was from 2014 (an r9, back when it was simple, reissue = reissue). I understand in 2015/2016/2017 things...
Hi All - I just took a PAF out of an early 1961 Gibson. Perfect condition (no rewind, not altered, etc.), great patina on the nickel cover, long original lead (11 inches), strong output (7.5ohm), etc. Pretty much perfect as far as old PAFs go. As long as I net $2,200 I'll be happy (which I...
Thought I'd post up some pics of my magic wand...
It's a 2013 1960 reissue that was sent off to Kim at historic makeovers for the full works and what a job he's done..
Top carve, neck carve, vintage style truss rod, hot hide glue neck reset, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, Retrospec inlays...
2006 Gibson "G0" 1960 Les Paul VOS Plain Top in Lemon burst (or Honey Burst?)
Model: "LPR-0"
$SOLD!!! Thanks Rex!!!!
Weight: 9#3.2oz (9.2lbs) on digital scale
I cannot find that exact "spec sheet" or an old GC ad for this guitar, but if you're looking for one of these GC "G0's" then you know...
I've been preparing myself to fork over too much money on a reissue. Likely a 1960s because I'm fearful of an uncomfortably fat neck.
The "True Historic" price seemed hard to justify when the "Standard historic" at $6.5k was comparatively a huge savings, giving up a few things that I'm not sure...
This might be the first time I've ever done an incoming thread, but I went by True Vintage Guitar here in Birmingham yesterday to check this out and have a feeling it's going to stick around for a while. Big thanks to John for a great Junior. I'm walking out the door now to pick it up. I'll post...
