General Information
2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded
Satin Fireburst nitro finish

Carved maple top
Mahogany neck
Rosewood fretboard
22 medium jumbo frets
24.75 scale
Burst Bucker Pro pickups
Coil splitting: no
Trapezoid inlays
Got this guitar in late June 2021. The finish has this worn look, that’s only accented by actual forearm wear on the body, giving the illusion that this is a much older instrument than the serial number indicates. This guitar was played…a lot, and I can tell why. With its weight relief, this guitar is light at well under 8 pounds. The neck is 50’s profile, with a 12” radius , and 22 medium jumbo frets. This guitar plays excellent, I personally like the unbound neck, but your mileage my vary.
The tone is classic Les Paul with these Burst Bucker Pro pickups. If you change the pickups on this, then it’s because you don’t want your Les Paul to sound like a Les Paul. It has that legendary Les Paul sustain that would make Nigel proud. The tone is just right, don’t let the lack of coil splitting function deter you from getting this guitar. You want single coil sounds, get a strat.
Overall, a great no bling, no bells no whistles, right down to business “player’s” guitar. Can’t think of a better bang for the buck considering how cheap these can be found in the used market. Don’t hesitate, and just get it. This is the guitar you want to bring to a gig, so you won’t risk your Les Paul Standard.
