    Gibson Adam Jones Standard Incoming

@InTheEvening That was what I though, too. I wouldn't be surprised to see an SG and/or an RD added to his lineup as well.

    Gibson Adam Jones Standard Incoming

True enough. Although it was most likely Adam's choice to have a Standard. Honestly, I much prefer them myself.

Yes. However, Customs are Custom Shop only, so this is the USA model. He also has a Flying V coming out

That's a metal sign of issue 1242 that I got on eBay. It's approximately the same size as the actual comic.

2021 Classic is now my Beano Burst!

@AJK1 They really do nail the Beano tone, but they're not just one trick ponies. I can still get Gibbons and Page out of them. They're just a fantastic set of PAFs!

2021 Classic is now my Beano Burst!

Just picked her back up from my friend's house. I had him install another Emerson '50s wiring harness, and a set of OX4 Beanos. As always, there's also a Faber ABR and tailpiece.

    NGD My Second Tribute Arrived

I love my Tribute so much, that I had to get another. She just arrived shortly before I got home. Just like all of my others, she's absolutely perfect- fit, finish, and setup, is great out of the box. The only new guitar I've purchased since the new team took over that had any issues(fret work...

What's your Les Paul neck preference?

I can quickly adjust to the necks on any of my Les Pauls, but I think my cherry sunburst Tributes are the probably the most comfortable. My 2021 Classic and 85 Love Rock are close contenders.

    '50s wiring with PCB?

Most of my guitars have '50s wiring harnesses installed. However, I do have two (both Tributes) with PCBs. I'm curious to know if it's possible to easily modify the existing PCBs to '50s wiring. I may very well replace them, but I'm just curious about this.

I just restrung with a set of Rev. Willy .008-.040. I had to set the intonation, as expected. But, what shocked me is that the rest of the setup is still great- as it was out of the box.

@rbraad68 Yes, its Southern Fade. And it gives off a heavy poor man's Pearly vibe! I still have a set of Duncan Pearly Gates that need a home, and they might end up in this one for that reason. The BB2 and 3 do sound much better than I expected though. Maybe I'll put them into my one Love Rock...

I've always said that my 50s Standard will never fool me into believing it's a Gibson. But this 59 is pretty damn impressive. I was fully prepared to be underwhelmed, after all of the hype over the 50s and 60s models.
