    Good to know. Changing the string doesn't seem to have fixed it so I think I'm going to try re-intonating that string to the 5th and 17th. Because of work I won't be able to do it until early next week but I'll keep the forum posted on whether it works or not. Thanks!

    The saddle for that string is pretty much all the way back but since the intonation between open and 12 is right I didn't want to mess with it just yet. Going to try changing the string tonight and seeing what happens.

    I got a super-cheap Les Paul copy (Indio) that plays and sounds surprisingly well, except one thing... the intonation on the 6th string starts going flat after the 12th fret. Like... it's dead on between open and the 12th fret, but by the time I hit the 15th fret it's almost a quarter tone flat...
