    Dedicating Computer For Multitrack?

My DAW is 2013 iMac, that, just like yours, runs flawlessly. Never had an issue with it. I can run a 50 track Pro Tools 11 session with all sorts of plugins going without any concerns (my machine has 24GB of RAM and I record to an external hard drive). I too have some concerns about...

Does anyone here actually find General Lee's flag and the flying of it offensive?

The use of the term "War of Northern Aggression" was not used to describe the Civil War until the 1950's. Its use came about when segregationists were attempting to correlate the Federal government's imposing of Civil Rights to the Union's war against the Confederacy.

Sorry, Mal, but this is simply untrue. Read the primary source succession documents.

Yep, the "legality" of succession is a very interesting subject - lots of fascinating works in this area that see it from all sorts of perspectives.

Does anyone here actually find General Lee's flag and the flying of it offensive?

Certainly, after the Civil War, southern succession and the Constitution were very difficult things to reconcile. I would argue that Texas v White in 1869 basically established that the Union was insoluble and therefore the Confederacy was in fact committing treason.
